The interview process is long, but worth it. It was about 3 months from application to offer. Here is a outline of the timeline:
- Applied online directly on the website
- Month passed. Then HR reached out to me via email inviting me to do an initial phone screen.
- Next week, had a phone screen. Asked me to walk through my resume.
- Week passed. HR set up a phone interview with the hiring manager later that week. More in depth questions.
- Week passed. Informed that they wanted me to come in for an in person interview.
- The in-person interview was 3 weeks later.
- Before the in-person, I was asked to do an online personality assessment (consisted of 2 sections about an hour each) (not sure how this is used in the interview process)
- For the in-person, I spent a half-day at MSK and met with 4 people about an hour each
- 3 weeks after that I received an offer.
Things to note - they require 5 references, in some cases 2 out of 5 have to be one of your past/present managers. Make sure you can answer why MSK and why this role. Also, make sure to follow up during the process if you haven’t heard anything. They did a very good job of keeping me in the loop.
