I went through multiple conversations and remained engaged for months, but updates were inconsistent and mostly came only after I followed up. The role appeared to go through budget uncertainty, delays, and shifting communication before ending with a generic rejection.
The most frustrating part was not the rejection itself, but the lack of clear ownership and communication throughout the process. Candidates can understand changing business priorities, but they should not be left hanging after investing significant time.
Good product and interesting market, but the hiring process did not reflect the level of transparency, respect, or operational maturity I expected.
