Metro Finance interview questions

Video Interview with 2 interviewers. I was asked a series of technical questions relating about Java, including inheritance & Java stack, by the lead of software team. Ratio of questions was about 20% personal & 80% technical questions.

The initial interview proceeded well, but the subsequent technical interview proved to be quite challenging. With over 40 questions presented within a tight timeframe, the experience was notably stressful and felt somewhat impersonal. The questions seemed tailored for short, direct responses, lacking the depth I anticipated, particularly in exploring reasoning or critical thinking aspects relevant to the role. Furthermore, there were moments of concern during the interview, particularly after navigating through .Net and database-related queries, where the interviewer appeared to confuse React with TypeScript. This discrepancy, alongside the rapid-fire question format, significantly impacted the overall experience, leaving me somewhat disheartened by the process.
