What would be my short term goal
long term goals for the HR Dept. ,
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Mission Inn Hotel & Spa (New York, NY) in Sept 2016
Interview
Applying is a pain, you have to download or walk in an fill out an application. You have to drive their site unseen to apply. The place is very nice, the staff is nice, the management team seemed unorganized, not timely, and clearly unhappy. The practices at this hotel are extremely outdated. Even Four Seasons allows facial hair. I was offered a job, but the pay is so low and the team seemed so miserable, I declined.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mission Inn Hotel & Spa (Riverside, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
I received a call from the HR manager, who scheduled an in-person interview with the Director of Marketing. They gave me clear directions about where to go, park and who to ask for and where to ask for them. I was led to their office in the hotel and I promptly interviewed with the director, as well as a peer. I was given a short test to see what kind of content I could create. I got called again a few days later for a second interview to meet the VP of Sales and Marketing, and she basically just wanted to see that I was a good fit with the team culture. I was offered the position on the spot. The entire process from application to hire was about two weeks.
