Anyone who does their research, can decide before they engage with us if this is something that want to participate in. We do require an exercise to see how candidates (regardless of the position) produce work on a short timeline (we are a social justice advocacy agency, after all). The exact prompt for this design position was this one-hour timed exercise: With the following background (a short brief sent via email), please create a 10-minute presentation that includes: - Your recommended visual style for the report – and why you chose it - One piece of collateral material for the report launch We are not looking for anything close to perfection, but we are looking for how candidates make sense of the exercise and show up to the presentation. It always helps us find our preferred person.
