The interview process started ok and was smooth. Had a virtual interview with the hiring manager which went well. The downside is the non-existent follow-up. There was zero follow-up and HR did not contact after to mention if they had already filled the role. After contacting and following up, there was no reply. It's 2024 and I think there needs to be some accountability from HR for candidates who take the time to interview for a role and do the required research beforehand. All that candidates ask for is a follow-up instead of being ghosted completely by HR. Very disappointed in this process and it has unfortunately negatively impacted by view of the organisation which I had held to a high standard.
