Interview
I applied online via LinkedIn (?) and received a text about scheduling an interview. I interviewed with the hiring manager and that went well. I had a second interview with someone who was in the same position as I was applying for. This interview was also easy. However, the pay structure was told to me like this: $500/week or your commission, whichever one was higher. Also, the role was to stand in Costco and sell phone plans for AT&T... not exactly a marketing assistant position IMO.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would you rather take home $500 a week or $3,000 in commission? (There is no way anyone makes 3k from commission in a week in that role).

Had a screening interview with one of the managers. It was simple. I believe it’s a two interview process before you’re hired on. The manager was kind and asked pretty simple questions. However, this company is incredibly deceiving on their titles. You will be doing SALES for other companies. Essentially the role was explained as companies hire Motiv8 to do their sales for them?? Didn’t make sense to me to hire people who don’t regularly work with whatever product needs to be sold.
Was told that starting out you get $600/wk, then $700/wk, and then $800/wk and so on plus commission. Go for it if you want to do sales, work during the weekend, and have no work/life balance.

Just be sure to dress impeccable and ask questions back when prompted. Your confidence is seen by other in your body posture and voice tone. You go in, look them in the eyes and copy body language, mimic them as people subconsciously like that.
