30 minute call with a screener followed by a 30-45 minute with a hiring manager. The call with the screen went well, as she was very knowledgeable, and provided great insight to the role. I was moved to the next round with the hiring manager, and was pretty disappointed with how that call went. They scheduled our call between flights (which I appreciated) until trying to talk to the HM through the noise of the airport and the constant distractions. The HM was friendly, and asked the same basic questions, but I was continuously interrupted by airport announcements, and people standing nearby. Felt a bit disrespected in regards to my time, and the level of effort I put in to prepare for the interview.

The interview process at Motive was thorough, structured, and communicated with a high level of professionalism. While I was not ultimately selected for the role, I was very impressed by the way the process concluded. Rather than a standard rejection email, the internal recruiter took the time to connect with me directly on the phone and provide thoughtful, candid feedback on both my strengths and areas for improvement. That kind of transparency and respect for candidates is rare, and I truly appreciated it. I hold Motive in high regard and wish the team continued success moving forward.
