I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Multiverse in Nov 2023
Interview

Phone call with team member
Task interview with line manager
Repeat task interview with head of dept
For the task, you lead the interview and have to qualify from the interviewer what they are looking for, before selling yourself in line with this. The interview process was intense but supportive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Motivations for joining?
Q: Examples of managing C-level stakeholders?
Q: Quantify past projects?
Multiverse's approach to hiring is quite arrogant, focusing solely on their four key characteristics rather than relevant experience. It's a long-winded, repetitive process for a role that is not very senior or highly paid, during which you are made to feel bad about yourself because you cannot provide tangible enough examples of being truly exceptional in your personal life. Throughout the process I was not really asked about my professional experience and what I could bring to the role but rather quizzed on demonstrating how different and special I am. I think because of this they miss out on people who would actually do a brilliant job in the role. Apart from the recruiter, I got the impression from the various hiring managers I met that they enjoyed making people squirm and feel uncomfortable. I was not given an offer but I was also put off by the interview process I went through.

Question 1
Give me 5 things that make a good CV outside of professional or education experience.
The interview process had many steps, with lots of feedback given along the way. While an intense process overall, it was ultimately very helpful to get input on ways to improve for the next round interview.
