Interview
The assessment centre consists of a group activity, where you will work with other candidates applying for the same role as you. The activity will test your communication skills and critical thinking as you work in the team to propose solutions to a problem related to the role you applied for. After that, it's free lunch! Once you have had a short break, it is the individual interview. Note that assessors are experienced engineers from the team you will potentially be in at the company.

Interview
The assessment centre involved a 30 min group session that involved brainstorming ideas in teams of 6 and 20 min one on one interview with basic and non technical questions.
The interview went reasonably well. The staff was friendly and created a welcoming environment. They primarily focused on behavioral questions, requiring answers to be structured using the STAR approach. This involved describing past experiences by outlining the Situation, the Task I was responsible for, the Actions I took, and the resulting Outcome. It was a good opportunity to showcase problem-solving skills and teamwork through specific examples.
