I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NEC Energy Solutions (Saint Louis, MO) in Aug 2017
Interview
I interviewed at the St. Louis location, it was a group interview. There were some behavioral questions but mostly we talked about what the vision was for the project I would work on, how they are doing it now, what they want it to be in the end. Overall I think it was a very low-pressure low-stress interview. The people there seemed positive and very knowledgeable. There was a lot of talk about the company in general.

Question 1
Why are you leaving your current workplace?
How do you handle unclear goals when there is a deadline?
If I asked you to jump into a new language that you've not used before, would you say "no way" or "bring it on"?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at NEC Energy Solutions (Chesterfield, MO) in Dec 2015
Interview
Managerial interview is more behavioral/career questions, and selling you on the idea of the company. On the technical side, mostly questions about prior experience. White-board coding/pseudo-coding and questions about C++ polymorphism, and challenges you've faced/how you dealt with them. Also a group interview at the end - expect as much about your work as about you personally, because the team wants to know if you'll fit in with them culturally.
