I was invited to an initial interview few days after applying. The interview lasted about 30 minutes, and I thought it was quite a positive experience. I reached out a few days later to ask about the following steps and when I could expect to hear from them about my application as these were not brought up during the interview. They responded that they were going to get back to me with an update "soon", and that I could reach out to them again any time in case I have any more questions. That "soon" never came. I reached out again 2 weeks later and got completely GHOSTED. It was a very disappointing experience, as I was really interested in working at this company. It is very unprofessional and dishonest to ghost an applicant after interviewing them and telling them you will get back to them "soon". Does not reflect nicely on the company at all.
