Actually long, couldn't communicate well with the management because of errors in looking for an English speaking job. Solid 5/10 experience, won't want to come back. Had to find another role around the area
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NLC Loans (Independence, OH)

Interview
Applied through indeed and received a phonecall to setup a phone interview shortly after. Phone interview was mostly an overview of the company and position. Touched on my work history and skills a bit. Had a few basic questions pertaining to the job requirements and daily duties. Roughly 1hour after the phone interview I was called back to setup an in person interview.
In person was done with two department managers. Interview was very well done. Felt like a conversation with old friends. They were very informal and made sure I was comfortable and made it very relaxing and non stressful. They had all the notes from my phone interview so no questions were repeated (every company should do this!). Discussed work history a bit and my expectations for the position. Managers were completely honest with me and admitted to issues within the department that they are actively working on fixing. The honesty with me was refreshing. I'm so used to some interviewers basically trying to "sell" you the job or their company and make it out to be the PERFECT company. Had a few of the "classic interview" boring/lame questions that feel like they're straight from a Google search for "questions to ask an interviewing job candidate" but not too many that it felt fake or that there was no effort put into it.
Overall it was of the best interview experiences I've ever had. Was called back 3 days later and offered the postions. I accepted immediately.
Only issue with the hiring process was that the job offer was contingent on passing a fairly invasive background check. This includes both criminal and a credit check. is digging into my credit really necessary? I was forced to explain some items found in my credit report in order to be considered for the position. I guess since the market this company is in they must vet their employees very thoroughly.
