Interview
The project's supervisor and the department's HR conducted the interview. First, HR introduced the university and the department. Then, I was asked to present my MSc. thesis briefly. After that, HR started asking general questions, considering my enthusiasm. Then, the supervisor started asking technical questions. Ultimately, I was given a chance to ask my questions.

Q: The weather in Norway is freezing for most months of the year. Can you adapt to this situation?
Q: How do you handle situations when research doesn't go well and the ultimate goal is not reached?
It was a very professional interview. Most of the questions were related to my previous relevant experiences. The answers were encouraged. I was given enough time and comfort to answer the questions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NTNU (Trondheim) in Mar 2020

After that is a presentation of your research statement to hiring managers and an interview about the research plans and your experience.
