The location in New Haven looked very sketchy. When I walked in there was only 1 guy. He had me sit at a waiting area fill out a very basic application with questions like "what is your best skill" "what motivates you" and "do you want any questions answered during this interview."
The interview consisted of me answering very standard questions like what I previously mentioned. The business the interview explained to me was face to face marketing from many Fortune 500 companies; AT&T, Quill and others, they also are selling energy due to deregulation from another company.
You must bring a copy of your resume as the interviewer does not have it on his computer, even though it was supposedly looked over by a women in Baltimore who could not send it over.
When I called back for an offer to come interview a few days previously the women was impatient and didn't seem to know who I was.
My overall impression was I was sort of making a mistake. There are a lot of negative signs.
They then called me later after the interview was over and the person said he "talked to his partner and they invited me bak for a second interview." I have worked a job with a very similar setup with a slightly more professional facade and while some people seem to make some money I am not sure it is for me. However, as I need a job now I will return probably for the second round interview.
