I applied online. I interviewed at NYU (New York University) (New York, NY) in Aug 2025
Interview
Three rounds of interviews, one with the HR recruiter, one with a couple other Development Assistants who shared what their roles consist of, one interview with the manager of the role. A bit lengthy but I get a role like this wanting to be thorough.
Simple/easy interviews with numerous people-they didnt ask hard questions or make me work very hard for the job offer-they did want to call my current employer before offering me the job which I found very odd-but overall it seemed like an easy job where lots of folks were just skating by with good salaries and the option to get a graduate degree for free
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NYU (New York University) in Jun 2013
Interview
Had a phone interview scheduled with the HR Director for 1:00 pm. At 1:20, I still hadn't received a phone call and had to call three different numbers to get to the HR office and confirm the time of appointment. Ten minutes later, the HR director called me, rushed through the interview, and then told me I would hear back from them in about a week. It's been two months and, clearly, I am no longer a candidate. I am not terribly upset by this, as, thankfully, I have full time employment and am looking to make a career move, but I certainly feel for the people who put a lot of effort into a position with NYU only to be treated unprofessionally.
