Very long process. All the people were really nice but dont see why such a long process was necessary. 1. Interview with the hiring manager. 2. Algorithmic coding interview. If you pass those then move on to the main interview process. 3. Interview with the hiring manager (again). 4. Another coding interview. 5. Yet another coding interview. 6. Cross functional interview. 7. System design interview. 8. Interview with an executive. The first thing he says to me is I really dont contribute to the decision about the candidate. (Then why are we speaking). I managed to de well enough in all of those rounds. The last one was a virtual team lunch?? Very awkward and unnecessary. After all of that they went with another candidate. That is a lot of time spent to not get the role.
