The application procedure has changed a lot since I applied. At that time, it was rather quick. Most care was taken to find an applicant with which there was a click with key managers. After a few interviews, the company makes a decision based on the experience and the resume. A security check is also performed to make sure the credentials are correct and there is no security issue with the applicant.

Most important is the ability to travel frequently. Without that, it could never work. That is also why only contracts for 5 days per week are possible.

i did a preliminary then follow up video interview. they were unclear about my job history and just ghosted me after the interviews, no response to any emails. no common courtesy.
