Approximately a 30 minute call for a first phone interview. Was introduced to recruiter and they shared a brief background of who they were/what they did. We then had a high level discussion of specific roles I had and was asked more specific questions in certain areas. After understanding more about what I’ve done, I was shared more details about the role I was applying to. They voiced motivation to hire the right person, and somebody who would want to stick around for the long haul. When questions were asked to them about culture and problem solving, the responses were direct and felt genuine. I was even provided feedback when asked. A great first impression.
