Vague, really interesting. There is little to no personal connection - but they are very in depth when it comes to information about you. Everything is somewhat intimidating because there are people of various ages testing for a variety of jobs at the agency.

I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at National Security Agency

Phone Screen,cognitive testing, in person interviews, security processing, etc.
This was largely a positive experience until the end. I had fun meeting the people who worked there and getting a brief inside look at one of our nation's most important agencies. The extremely lengthy security processing and related experiences essentially erased my desire to work there (having to go through that every five years would be abysmal) but I understand that these things are necessary.
