I responded to a post on Craigslist and the manager emailed me back a week later. I went into the salon and the manager took me towards the back and began explaining the position. They wanted someone with more of a salon background, but were willing to hire the right person. Being a marketing major, she asked a couple of questions about what experience I had in the major and programming. After the interview, she said that she would call all the candidates, whether you are invited to the second interview or not. The second interview will be a walk-through of a typical day at the salon to test whether you are the right fit for the salon. Overall, it was a hospitable and relaxed interview. The manager was very upbeat and engaging.
