Interview
I received an interview request and provided my availability, but didn't hear back until I got another email two weeks later saying the generic "we're going with other candidates" without speaking to me. A day later I received an email asking for "feedback about your recent interview." Frustrating and disorganized.

Question 1
Marked "average" for annoyance because I was ghosted... and then was asked about it.
Horrible experience! I sent my availability a week ago to prepare since it was a great opportunity. I thought the recruiter didn't send the calendar invite, so I followed up via email, and she didn't respond to me. A couple of days later, I sent her a message on LinkedIn, and she still ignored me. I finally found the invite buried in calendar spam from marketers.
I accepted and figured she would see it, and we would speak the day of the interview. She didn't show up on the call, so I emailed her 8 minutes in, and she showed up 10 minutes late, saying she had a meeting go over….Candidates take a lot of time to prepare, and if this is how you treat them by ignoring them and then you can't even be on time for the interview, it is very disrespectful.
I think she lied about a call going over and didn't want to do the call, and when I did talk to her, I knew I was doomed from the start. I can't recommend this company because I can imagine what it would be like to work there if, as a candidate, you were treated this way. Recruiters here are disorganized and disrespectful through their actions. They will go on to hire a mediocre candidate and get mediocre results.
The second round was intended to be a casual resume review to get to know me, but the interviewer was smarmy and condescending. They repeatedly claimed my answers weren’t clear, though their tone suggested they were more interested in undermining me than actually understanding. Worse, they seemed distracted—pretending to take notes while occasionally smiling and laughing under their breath, as if engaged in a side conversation.
The other rounds were enjoyable and fair.
