The process was kicked off when an exec recruiter reached out to via LinkedIn. We had a brief 30 minute call to make sure moving forward made sense at which point she connected me with TripActions HR for another phone screen. Both were very typical phone screens -- focus on past experience, behavioral questions, etc.
This was followed by a phone call with the CMO and I had a very good experience working with him throughout the interview process. Given I was coming from a different (non-travel) space, I had a ton of questions about the company, the product, and competitive environment... he dealt with all of these very patiently and demonstrated a very mature / informed point of view on all of the different considerations and challenges I brought up. In fact, those interactions were one of the main drivers of accepting the offer.
In the final onsite, I met in-person with the CMO in addition to the cofounders and other internal team leaders. I received an offer the following week and accepted the week after that.
Overall the process took 2 months -- mostly based on my personal availability / schedule.
