Interview
I recently interviewed with Neil Jesani Advisors for an Advisory role, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The interviewers came across as unprepared and scattered, and there was little opportunity for a meaningful or structured conversation.
Throughout the process, there was also a lack of consistency in communication. The original recruiter I worked with left the firm unexpectedly. While the next recruiter was professional and knowledgeable, a scheduled follow-up call was missed, and I received no response to my attempts to follow up only to learn she had left the firm suddenly as well.
Overall, the process felt disorganized and unprofessional, which did not reflect well on the company. I hope they take steps to improve their candidate experience in the future.

Interview
I had an incredibly positive experience interviewing with Neil Jesani Tax Advisors. From start to finish, the process was organized, professional, and respectful of my time. What stood out right away was how intentional and well-structured everything felt. It wasn’t just a standard interview—it felt like a meaningful conversation around fit, growth, and the value I could bring. They took the time to understand my background and how I think, which made the experience feel collaborative rather than transactional.
What truly set this apart was the people. Every interaction felt genuine, and the team was both welcoming and highly knowledgeable. You can tell they operate with a strong level of professionalism and hold themselves to a high standard while still creating a positive and respectful environment. Overall, one of the best interview experiences I’ve had, and a company that clearly values both performance and people.

Interview
I had three rounds in one week. HR emailed me a shortlist note, then sent calendar invites and reminders for each step.
Round 1 was a friendly HR screen about my background and customer service style.
Round 2 was with the Hiring Manager - how I handle busy days, privacy, and follow-ups.
Round 3 was with a Senior Manager - real examples and how I’d prioritize.
Emails were clear, timing was on schedule, and I got an update after each call. I heard back the next week with an offer.
