Interview
Someone reached out to me right away after applying for the Receptionist role. I had my phone interview later that week. I did not hear back for awhile so I inquired 2 weeks later. The recruiter did not answer at all until the following week when he called and emailed me to invite me in for an on-site. I immediately filled out my availability. Almost a week went by and after not hearing anything again, I emailed the recruiter. No response. The next day the recruiting coordinator finally sent me the date for my on-site.
The on-site interview consisted of meeting with 5 people over a 2 hour 45 min time span. Out of the 5 people, 3 were zoom calls. The handwritten card wishing us luck on the interview was a nice touch, but I would've preferred a majority of interviewers in-person.
The one part where I felt uncomfortable was when one of the interviewers asked if my current job as a fitness instructor was not paying the rent. He also asked questions like how I funded going to college. That is definitely not an important factor for this role.
I received word via phone 8 days later that they decided to go with another candidate. Overall, the whole interview process from start to end was 7 weeks—almost 2 months.
The handwritten card and phone calls are personable, but the long wait times and lack of response seem to cancel one another out. I'd prefer sooner turnaround times via email vs waiting around to get a phone call.

Interview
The process started with applying online and being selected for an interview with the greenhouse app to select availability. I had a thirty-minute phone interview scheduled with recruiter Tyler Smith and had a great experience with him in my corner. Prior to the onsite interviews, there were helpful materials emailed to give me an understanding of the service that Netskope provides and I was welcomed to bring any clarifying questions to Tyler anytime. I met with the four members of the GNA team for thirty minutes each (one Zoom meeting) and had a separate last interview from home on Zoom with Brendan Lynch a few days after. Each of these interviewers was impressively smart and likable I can understand the high rating for this company. There is a people-centric culture to be enjoyed at Netskope. The office is lovely and new and the people are very pleasant and approachable. Food is catered four times a week and there are plenty of healthy snacks and beverages to select from. While I would have enjoyed the mentorship from this GNA team, I ultimately decided on a more senior position with another company. I want to emphasize how much I appreciated Tyler's support and communication throughout my job hunting. I genuinely felt his and the team's excitement to onboard me and otherwise support me.
