Very disappointing interview experience with Neurorealm.
I went through 5 technical rounds for a Sr. Solution Architect position over nearly one month. During the initial HR screening, I clearly communicated my salary expectations, and the HR team agreed to proceed.
However, after successfully clearing all technical rounds, the company offered compensation that was not even aligned with my current salary. Eventually, they rejected my candidature citing “budget constraints.”
This raises a serious question — why invest so much of a candidate’s time with multiple rounds if the budget was never aligned from the beginning?
The interview process felt highly unprofessional and poorly managed from a compensation planning perspective. Candidates invest significant time, preparation, and effort for senior-level interviews, and such last-minute budget discussions reflect badly on the hiring process.
I would strongly suggest future candidates clarify the final compensation range upfront before spending weeks in the interview cycle.
