The initial interview was conducted by the Director of People and Culture to determine whether I was a fit for the firm's culture. The questions were mostly about my background, immigration experience, and my ability to work remotely and commute a few times for hearings. After that, I was informed about the firm's structure, training, the types of visas I would work on, and the type of clients I would be working with. It seems that NFIL is looking for attorneys with experience in humanitarian visas and who speak Spanish fluently.
