I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at New York Life (Richmond, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
Talked about having a list of 100-200 contacts. He showed potential presentation I'd be making for clients. Talked about goals 5 10 and 20+ years out. Very knowledgeable about all questions I asked and able to pin-point some challenges that would need to be addressed in future.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at New York Life (Jacksonville, FL) in May 2026
Interview
Did a phone interview, vague on offering to try and get you in the door for a F2F. Skeptical towards moving forward due to lack of upfront information and information found online for the fast track to management position.
Super easy interview process that focuses more on you asking questions rather than getting interviewed. If you want this job make sure you spend time asking questions about the company and learning more about the role. Also just realize.
3
Initial meeting is to understand the prospective hire and meet the recruiting team and other principals. Second meeting is with CEO to get a marketing study completed along with some company history.
