I was asked to come in for an in-person interview, Round 1, and the person I was supposed to interview with was not there (I don't remember why). They seemed unorganized, trying to figure out what to do, before sitting me in front of computer for an online interview with an employee in the Alexandria office. For Round 2, I returned to the office for an interview with two women who didn't do a good job preparing questions and discussion topics, so it made me feel awkward and unwelcome. Finally, they never let me know that I did not get the job. There was no notice either way.

After taking a personality quiz, completeing a few short-answer questions and having a 1:1 Skype call with the VP of Client Services, I was flown down to the Nexus Direct office in Norfolk, VA for a day of in-person interviews with a number of team members. Everyone I spoke to was very professional, inquizitive, interesting and pleasant. I had mutually-informative conversations with everyone, and was left feeling even more interested and excited to learn/perform the job, and within a very fun, but fiercly hardworking office culture that was noticeably dedicated to the success of the company’s clients above all else. I’m awaiting a hiring decision, but I truly enjoyed the experience of interviewing with Nexus Direct regardless of the final outcome.
