      Field Technician Interview

      25 Mar 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Las Vegas, NV
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 9 months. I interviewed at Ninyo & Moore (Las Vegas, NV) in Oct 2017

      Interview

The recruiter contacted me almost immediately after I submitted my resume to go through some screening questions and set up an interview. The interview went well. It was more of a conversation for the most part. I was interviewed by the office manager and the materials department manager. The materials manager was very friendly, but the office manager (engineer) just asked a bunch of dumb typical interview questions and made me feel awkward. They ended up wanting me for field and lab work instead, which wasn't what I wanted, but I said I would be willing to take it. Then I got ghosted for 9 months until they eventually hired me as a field technician. Weirdest hiring process I have encountered so far in my career.
