I applied through university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Thousand Oaks, CA) in May 2014
Interview
There were supposed to be three interviews. I only attended one before deciding it was not for me. They made it seem so easy but in reality there was a high chance that you would not make any money other than the $100 stipend for the month. So you must know a lot of people that trust you and are willing to pay you to help them with their money.
Straightforward process, interviewed with them on campus. They provided the information I needed. I decided to not move ahead with the interview process as it did not align with my goals, but the interviewers were cordial and professional.
Felt like they were selling me something the whole time. Super easy to talk to, but something just felt off the whole time. Had multiple phases of them explaining why they're so perfect and great to work for (massive selection bias in some of their numbers)
