I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern University
Interview
I applied online via the NU website. I submitted my resume, but not a cover letter even thought they asked for one. There were also a handful of background questions to answer online. I was contacted by HR about two weeks later and had my first 15 minute interview with someone from HR who could not have been nicer. She asked really easy questions and gave me plenty of opportunity to brag about myself. After that I met with the hiring manager and I was stumped a few times by her questions (they were not unreasonable, I just could have been more prepared. A week or so later I met with the hiring manager again and she told me that I would not be offered the position. I was already an employee for Northwestern and I currently still am. My own manager was very helpful with process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing too difficult. A lot of customer service related questions, what if you have a disagreement with a coworker, how organized are you, etc.
Interview process was as expected and without a hitch. very clear and I got hired. This was 8 years ago. I first applied and then had an interview with the hiring director. From there I had an interview with a panel and finally had to do a presentation
I interviewed at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL)
Interview
2 rounds- Phone & in-person. In-person was longer than a half day, which is long but allowed me to get a sense of the team I'd be working with, and the scope of the organization I'd be working in.

Question 1
Boilerplate questions focused clearly on asking every candidate the same question.

Interview
First round interview with director over Zoom. It felt more like a conversation than an interview- there was a significant amount of back and forth vs. getting drilled with questions.
