I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nurse Maude (Christchurch, Canterbury) in Jul 2022
Interview
Received a call shortly after applying to discuss a different role that was newly available as the HR team believed my skills might be more suitable there. We discussed both roles and had a general interview. References and offer were done all on the same day!

Some standard questions about how I work, previous experiences
I applied online. I interviewed at Nurse Maude (Christchurch, Canterbury) in Aug 2017
Interview
First part was the phone screening which went smoothly.
Second part was the face to face interview. I was interviewed by two people the Customer Service Manager and HR officer. STAR (Situation Task Action Result) questions were asked in the interview.
The interview went well. At the time I thought it was neither hard nor easy. But looking back it was probably the most easiest and straightforward; compared to other interviews I had done in the past.
I was surprised to have got the job, as I had been unemployed for nearly a year.

Question 1
I can't remember the interview questions word for word exactly as this was a few years back. But I was asked something along the lines of:
- What do you know about Nurse Maude?
- What drawn you to apply for this role?
- What do you say when a relative informs us of patients death?
- Tell me of a time you solved a customer's problem (apply STAR technique)
- Tell me of a time when you worked in a group (apply STAR technique). I think the question also covered deadlines.
- I can't remember but I think there was a question on time management and deadlines (apply STAR technique).
- I think there may have been a questions on strengths, weaknesses, goals, and motivation; but I am not too sure.
