OTC FLOW interview questions

I was called on the phone and asked if I had time for an interview. The interviewer was quite nice and respectful but also direct and focused. My interview started with a couple of ordinary questions about my CV, particularly why I applied for a sales position despite having limited sales experience. Then I was asked a couple of questions about key skills required for the job and how well I think I can demonstrate them, particularly cold calling. After mentioning cold calling, I was told to pretend to be making a cold call to a company, after which I had to evaluate my performance.

The interview did not look serious at all since the head of desk talked mostly about his background and I presented mine. The interview briefly covered the contracts they "trade" (Gos, GCs, etc). The interview ended with a mock sales call that I failed. And yet, I got the position.
