OTS Empire interview questions

The initial interview was with the CEO of the office via Zoom with a few other interviewees on the same call. That was my first red flag. I was not aware that this would be conducted as a group interview. I was told there would be 100s of interviews conducted for these open roles and that if I was chosen for an in-person interview, that I’d receive a call that afternoon. Of course, I won the car! I mean, the interview. Everyone did. I already knew something was off about this company, but I decided to go to the office to see what it was about. The person interviewing you is obviously going to get a bonus if you are hired, because this person looked like they were going to cry when I declined moving onto the next round. He spent about 20 minutes showing me a graph that should have been in the shape of a pyramid. This is a door-to-door sales job, where you can make $35 per sale of ATT fiber installation. He tried to convince me this method is more effective than email or social media. Funny! All of this build up to tell me I could potentially become a director and open my own office. Fine for a person just getting out of college, but definitely not for me. I’d rather sell Avon.

Straight forward. Office was having a morning meeting and huddle. I saw a lot of whiteboard writing on the walls about the products they are selling. It composed of three rounds. First one was on the phone via zoom. Second round and third rounds are in office with a leader and a higher manager. It does seem like it is mostly selling a job and. It was talking more about how I can be rich, then my daily day to day. It feels like they are selling me the job, like a product. While I cannot say that this is a scam, it is certainly an MLM or MLM-like.
