I applied for the Senior Site Reliability Engineer position (remote within France). The process consisted of a screening call with Talent Acquisition, followed by a 45 minutes technical interview with the Lead SRE. The interview was exclusively theoretical and covered SRE concepts. No practical exercise was included. The conversation ran longer than scheduled, which suggested mutual interest. I was later rejected, so I asked for detailed feedback. The feedback I received did not appear to be aligned with the job description or with established SRE best practices.
