Interview
There were some general questions about implementation experience and a panel interview. The young team members didn’t seem enthusiastic and were perhaps inexperienced in interviewing. Might be a result of being a small company. They emphasised the hard work culture at the firm and staying late hours, which may put off some people due to the line of statement around that. I found it unusual they said I assume you would not be looking for leadership type roles. A big assumption to make at the start of the interview.
Although the contact person was friendly, there was slow communication and they didn’t reply until two attempts which was several weeks already late. It shouldn’t take that long to message, whatever the size of company as this holds candidates back. Even then, there wasn’t specific feedback provided just the generic not being right fit for the team at this team despite asking for specific feedback and despite them asking if had any questions but not acting on it.
