Submitted my resume through my college career center. Compared to other companies, Oxy took a really long time to get their selection process together. First round interviews weren't until mid-October- almost a month after other companies.
Overall, the interview was a standard behavioral interview. They ask you to provide examples of when you lead a team, dealt with conflict, showed innovation, etc. Employees were personable and nice to talk to.
Only real complaint is their hiring process- it seems pretty disorganized. They came to career fair in early September, but they didn't have a position posting until October. Never actually heard back from them after I interviewed, which is pretty disrespectful of my time. Sending a rejection email isn't hard.
I ended up getting an offer from a better company in the end. Overall, the employees were really great to talk to, but I get the impression that there's some underlying issues with HR/ upper management.
