Very informal and unprofessional. Although the interview was scheduled the team seemed unprepared for the interview process. The interview began with
Manger who was pleasant but cold. In the later part of the interview the Owner Steve Teachout was asked to participate in the interview. Mr. Teachout was a very pretentious and self absorbed individual. He began with a very hurried up attitude. Made you feel like he had better things to do so don't waste my time. Demonstrated a very uninviting demeanor. He actually had the audacity to insult me during the interview. The job was for a traveling technician to service their product. During the interview I attempted to demonstrate my worthiness for the position by stating that I had a new Nissan SUV that was reliable, capable of carrying the tools/parts to perform the job. I made a statement saying my car had all the "bells and whistles" implying that I purchased a car with the extra features to perform the job safely, comfortably, and with reliability. He replied condescendingly, "Wow! What are the bells and whistles you get with a Nissan? Oh yeah, the bell and the whistle." On top of all that, no one ever reached out to say Thanks for taking the time to interview and that they had not selected me. In conclusion, I would have never accepted the position any way. Me and my SUV would never measure up to Mr. Teachout's overinflated opinion of himself, his company and his BMW 750il.
