The interview was fairly simple where the manager spoke to me on a video call. Asked me a bunch of questions and spoke about the position responsibilities and I reassured him that I was capable of doing it all since I've experienced the same responsibility before. Was told that the call went well and that I should be expecting a date and time to meet in person with the team and someone from HR a week later. I ended up being ghosted and was told by my recruiter that Octapharma decided to continue with another candidate instead.
Apparently the manager assumed I was wearing a T-shirt during our video call because of the way the camera was framed. I reassured both him and my recruiter that I was wearing a sweater instead and that I would be wearing business casual in the office, but I guess the original T-shirt assumption was enough to reject me.
