I applied in-person. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Ocuco (Dublin, Dublin) in Feb 2024
Interview
The recruiter was friendly and explained the role clearly. Questions were mostly about my background, notice period, and salary expectations. The panel was welcoming. They asked both technical and behavioral questions, focusing on my testing approach, collaboration skills, and problem-solving methods.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) tell me about older work
2) current salary
3) current medical benefits
4) when will you become a citizen
5) why you want to move
6) if you have 3 offers from 3 different company, which one you pick and why
7) why you worked less than 2 years in one of your previous company
- HR was racist, anti-immigrant, asking lots of personal questions which is prohibited under law and also it's more like an introgration compare to an interview. I asked back the same questions and he told me it was so much in detail and that we would answer that if you moved forward in the second round. However, there wasn't further growth in the role and you can't get promoted for up to 2 years. They just want slave with low ball salary and only one nationality as you can see on their website too.
