Interview
Received an email from James Bates interested in a phone interview after receiving my application. We scheduled an interview for a Wednesday at 10:00am PST. After I accepted the time slot, James mentioned he had to reschedule to the next day due to travel. I understood (things come up), and confirmed Thursday at 10:00am PST would be fine. Thursday arrives and at 10:05am PST, I haven't heard from James. Therefore, I email him asking if we are still meeting. I get a response at 11:20am PST stating, "Need to reschedule. Thx." This lack of communication was enough of a red flag for me to not move forward. Fast forward to the following Tuesday I get an email stating, "Thanks very much for corresponding with me. After careful consideration we have moved forward with another candidate. We wish you the best in your future endeavors." I understand they are a small company starting out, I am looking to be transparent in the disorganization in their current processes. I hope it improves for future employees and potential hires.
