It was the standard civil service interview process. It followed the success profiles framework and included 3 behaviours questions (which are similar to competency style questions) and two technical questions. It lasted one hour.
The Ofgem interview process was a positive and engaging experience; the interviewers were approachable and understanding, creating a comfortable atmosphere, and the questions were focused on my previous experience and how it aligned with the key responsibilities of the role.

As part of the interview, I was shown a dashboard and asked to evaluate it from a business intelligence perspective, identifying areas for improvement in terms of usability, visualization, KPI presentation, and overall effectiveness in supporting decision-making.
