Applied for the job and got an email reply about a week later asking me for an interview the next day. I went to the interview and it was very quick. Once the interviewer was aware that I did not have any project management experience and that my expertise would be more in quality control, she was clearly not interested in hiring me and it ended rather quickly. It was nice to have the answer right then though, instead of being forced to wait for weeks for a response or lack of one. They have my resume on file should the Quality Control jobs open up. I hope they do.
