I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Omni Hotels (Austin, TX)
Interview
Very straightforward and easy. Very basic questions. It's hard for them to find people so as long as you're a friendly person, you've got it. There's also a behavioral HR questionnaire.
A new HR person contacted me, that I learned did not have a relationship with the guy at the property that was going to interview me. I heard a conversation in the restroom they needed a 3rd interview before they could hire their top pick which is an internal. The interview was rushed.

Question 1
So unprofessional. The interviewer said, you have a lot of experience, but I have to ask you these questions anyway. He took no notes. He was not hospitable, and did not seem comfortable "setting the table" for a mutual conversation. Questions on a branded document like: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Tell me about the last time you exceeded expectations?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Omni Hotels (Providence, RI)
Interview
Must have local area knowledge and understand tourism and food and beverage. Front desk experience is needed. They will sit you down 1 on 1 with HR and the Director of Operations and ask very specific questions.
