      Facilities Manager Interview

      2 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Onni Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2017

      Interview

Received email from recruiter asking for a typical phone screen; basic phone screen questions including salary requirements. Recruiter followed up with in-person interview set for a week later. Met with hiring manager; got along great - good communication and interview; in-depth and felt like a good fit equally. Took a tour of the property and met some staff. I had two impromptu interviews. One interviewer asked family and martial status, not as small talk - but seemed to gauge outside commitments. Did not seem to know the role at all. Second interviewer asked me what role I was interviewing for. It was difficult to understand his question as English is not his native langue; questions were very vague and would require anyone to know company policy to answer. 2 out of the 3 interviews gave me a bad impression of organization and staffing. Sent follow-up email; no response - followed by several more. Finally heard from recruiting after five emails and two calls.
