I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Open Book Ben (Denver, CO) in Nov 2014
Interview
It seemed thorough in it's execution - and in my experience the thoroughness of an interview is directly proportional to the level of pain that a company has experienced. It was engaging in that I met with all levels of leadership within the organization. It was demanding in that I put several days of development into an ultimately fruitless effort.

Question 1
They requested a submitted code demo implementation using AngularJS, RestAngular, and a public API of my choice, and a full interface implementation of my choice.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Open Book Ben (Denver, CO) in Feb 2014
Interview
Very professional and great group of people. I had a very friendly morning interview, and in the afternoon I came back to do a coding demo. Every one was quite relaxed and friendly which really helped me relax as well. The office structure seemed very organized for a startup, and they all clearly knew what they were doing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The coding demo was essentially a guided coding demo in python doing some data acquisition and organization, fairly straightforward, low pressure and very helpful. It also gave pretty good insight for me what the job and work environment would be like, which was quite helpful for me as well.
