I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Opendoor (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Interview process started off great... then it wasn't. I was not actively looking, but open to opportunities. A recruiter reached out to me on Linkedin and I had a positive phone screen. Few days later I had a 30 min phone interview with the hiring manager. A week later I was brought in for a 3 hour interview (4 x 30 min 1:1s and a 45 minute presentation). The team seemed impressed with my presentation and the interviews also seemed positive. I heard back from the recruiter a few days later who said they were wrapping up interviews and would have an update the following week.
After not hearing from the recruiter, I followed up. Same response, still interviewing. I followed up again a week later and the recruiter said they had not made a decision but would have news "the beginning of next week". After following up 3-4 times and never hearing back I've just had the worst impression of the company and lost all interest.

Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we scheduled a 30-minute call. I shared my experience, and she gave me a pitch on the company vision. She asked me to share my resume with her at the end of the call, so I did. I never heard back. No response when I followed up.
