I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Optiv (Denver, CO) in May 2016
Interview
It was quite lengthy; however, the time period was partly my fault for reasons not worth describing here. Overall, my recruiters were helpful and did, ultimately, get me an interview for the perfect position. The time it took to get placed in the perfect role really made the wait worth it.
The interview process is interesting in that it is all virtual. Having a virtual interview process actually made everything much nicer. I wasn't as nervous and was able to show my true professionalism opposed to face-to-face in which nerves can cause a person to fail.

**Disengaged and Unprofessional Recruiter Experience**
I recently had a phone screening with Talent Acquisition, and it was quite disappointing. Throughout the call, she appeared very disengaged and uninterested in her role. She asked only two basic questions about my experience and departure from a previous job, lacking any insight into the questions I asked.
Despite following up with an email as suggested, she was unresponsive and essentially ghosted me. This lack of communication and professionalism was disheartening and left a negative impression.
While I understand that not every interaction will be perfect, it's crucial for recruiters to uphold a standard of communication and engagement. This experience highlighted the importance of effective representation in the recruitment process as she seemed as though she’d rather do anything else than her role.
Overall, my experience with the TA was subpar, and I hope that improvements can be made to ensure better candidate experiences in the future.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
She asked only two basic questions about my experience at my current company and about my departure from a previous job.
Screening call, interviewer just went line by line on my resume saying "Tell me about that experience" without asking any detailed follow up questions. Seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else but interviewing. Didn't advance past that.
