I applied online. I interviewed at Oura (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2023
Interview
As much as its possible for interviews to be low stress, Oura's technical interview achieved it. I had 4 interviews with hiring manager, product manager, Android engineer and backend developer. Each of the interviewers was well prepared.

Question 1
I especially liked that I was asked Android questions in the context of a project and was able to work on it within Android Studio.
I applied online. I interviewed at Oura (Helsinki, Southern Finland) in Jul 2025
Interview
The overall process was smooth and well structured. I went through five steps: an initial introduction with HR, two technical rounds (one 90-minute architecture/design session and a take-home project with a review a few days later), then a conversation with the hiring manager, and finally a wrap-up with HR.
All the people I spoke with were genuinely friendly and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning, which helped a lot with the technical deep-dives. The discussions were focused, fair, and felt like real engineering conversations rather than “gotcha” questions. Overall a positive and respectful experience.

Question 1
They asked me how I would design a feature end-to-end, starting from requirements to testing and release.
Best interview process I've been through as a SWE. The recruiter I worked with was amazing. And I appreciated that the interviews were behavioral & domain-specific rather than generic Leetcode questions. Everyone that I met with was kind & left me with a very positive view of the company!
